The HIV Resource Hub provides comprehensive information and direct connections to HIV services for people living with and vulnerable to HIV, including HIV testing and PrEP support, mental health counseling, medical transportation, primary care, housing navigation and more.

HIV Primary Care

Our partners, Howard Brown Health Center and UIC provide quality HIV primary care services to people living with HIV in Englewood and Uptown, respectively.

STI Specialty Clinics

We operate five STI specialty clinics to diagnose and treat common sexually-transmitted infections and provide partner services. Residents can also pick up free condoms and learn more about other HIV prevention methods like PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis).

GTZ Dashboard

Getting to Zero Illinois is a statewide initiative to end the HIV epidemic by 2030. The GTZ-IL Data Dashboard helps users track progress toward the initiative's goals and strategies of HIV prevention and access to care. The dashboard was designed by Northwestern University in collaboration with CDPH, the AIDS Foundation Chicago, nd the Illinois Department of Public Health.

PrEP Info 

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is an essential tool to reduce HIV transmission. It is a daily dose of antiretroviral medication that helps prevent HIV infection. When used consistently, studies show that PrEP is more than 90% effective at preventing transmission.

Kevin's Room (2001). Produced by the Chicago Department of Public Health and Black Cat Productions, Kevin's Room is a 60-minute film that follows a Black social worker who starts a gay men's support group. As a group they discuss such issues as HIV testing, relationships, AIDS, and sexual risk taking among Black gay men.
