Request for Proposals (RFPs): CDPH - National HIV Behavioral Surveillance Project Core Populations (#8577)

April 29, 2022

The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) has released a Request for Proposals (RFPs) for CDPH - National HIV Behavioral Surveillance Project Core Populations (#8577) to partner with an organization to conduct National HIV Behavioral Surveillance (NHBS) activities including bio-behavioral surveillance to monitor HIV related behaviors, detect changes over time in HIV risk behaviors among populations via surveys and HIV testing among populations overburdened by HIV infection in Chicago. The core populations include people who inject drugs (PWID), gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM), and heterosexually active adults at increased risk for HIV infection (HET).

This RFP aligns with Healthy Chicago 2025’s assessment theme of Improve systems of care for population most affected by inequities and the Health and Human Services priority area, with the aim of increasing comprehensive and culturally appropriate healthcare including HIV prevention, care, and treatment among populations overburdened by HIV infections, particularly Black and Latinx Chicagoans.
