Cultural Advisory Council of the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events Meeting September 12, 2023, 3pm.
The September 12, 2023, meeting of the Cultural Advisory Council of the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events will be held in-person at the Chicago Cultural Center, 5th Floor Millennium Park Room, 78 E. Washington St.

Public Comment
Public participation is intended to provide residents and interested persons with the opportunity to comment on issues or topics within the purview of the Cultural Advisory Council. Remarks are to be limited to the subject matter on the agenda. A summary of the public comment portion for the Cultural Advisory Council virtual meeting is available below:
- Written statements are the preferred method of public comment and will be accepted up to 48 hours in advance of the meeting by email at dcase@cityofchicago.org. Such requests must include “Cultural Advisory Council Public Comment” in the email subject line and will be shared with the Council in advance of the meeting.
- Live public comment will take place at the beginning of the scheduled meeting. Members of the public wishing to speak must complete and submit a speaking request form, available online, by email to dcase@cityofchicago.org. Forms must be submitted 48 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting and include “Cultural Advisory Council Public Comment” in the email subject line. Members of the public who have submitted a speaking request form must check-in in person 15 minutes prior to the meeting start time or they forfeit their spot.
- A maximum of 5 members of the public will be permitted to comment during the meeting. Selected speakers will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each will be given instructions on how to provide up to 3 minutes of comment.
