Argyle Lunar New Year Parade

Argyle St. from Sheridan Rd. to Ainslie to Broadway
Start Time: 1pm

Watch festive parade floats and colorful lion and dragon dancers make their way through the Uptown neighborhood and along the main thoroughfare of Argyle Street.

Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade

February 10, 2019
Wentworth from 24th to 22nd, West on 22nd to Princeton
Start Time: 1pm

The parade will feature marching bands, colorful floats, traditional lion dances and a special appearance by Ronald McDonald.

Southside Irish Parade

The Southside Irish Parade will return this year on March 11th on Western Ave. from 103rd to 115th.

Northwest Side Irish Parade

The Northwest Irish Parade is a celebration of faith, family, and heritage on the Northwest side of Chicago.

Hellenic Heritage Parade (Greek Independence Day Parade)

The Hellenic Heritage Parade commemorates the 197th Anniversary of Greek Declaration of Independence.

Cinco De Mayo Parade

Cermak Rd. & Damen Ave. to Marshall Blvd.

Cinco De Mayo Parade is held to remember the victory the Mexican forces had over the invading French army in the Battle of Puebla on 5 May, 1862.

Puerto Rican People's Parade

Division from Western to Sacramento

Humboldt Park’s Puerto Rican community will celebrate the 39th anniversary of the People’s Parade along Division Street.

LGBTQ Pride Parade

The 50th annual Gay & Lesbian Pride Parade is one of the largest gay pride parades in the country.

Ecuador Parade

August 5, 2018
Montrose from California to Kimball
Start Time: 12 Noon

The Ecuador Parade will take place in Albany Park and will feature a vibrant train of floats, along with Andean music and dancing from local folkloric troupes, all celebrating Ecuadorian independence.

Pakistan Independence Day Parade

Devon Ave. from Damen to Western
Start Time: 12pm
Chicago's Pakistani community commemorates the country's independence with their annual parade in West Roger's Park.

Pakistan Heritage Parade

India Independence Day Parade

The India Independence Day Parade is a lively celebration of Indian independence on Devon Avenue.

Von Steuben German Day Parade

September 7, 2019
Lincoln Ave. & Irving Park Rd. to Eastwood, West to Western to Lawrence
Start Time: 2pm

The parade celebrates Baron Friedrich von Steuben, who came to this country as a volunteer offering his services to General George Washington. General von Steuben converted the revolutionary army into a disciplined fighting force, instilling in them much needed inspiration, confidence and competence.

26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade

One of the most colorful parade in Chicago, the 26th Street Mexican Independence Parade celebrates Mexican Independence with floats, mariachi bands and dancing in the streets.

Guatemalan Independence Parade

Help celebrate when Guatemala won its independence from Spain on September 15, 1821 in this annual parade in Albany Park!

Pilsen Mexican Independence Day Parade

September 15, 2018
18th St. from Newberry Ave. to Wolcott
Start Time: 12pm

This parade is a culturally enriched parade celebrating Mexican Independence. It features traditional folkloric, equestrian and Aztec dancing, local school organizations (marching bands), and floats sponsored by local businesses.

South Chicago Mexican Independence Day Parade

September 16, 2018
Commercial Ave. from 87th to 100th St.
Start Time: 1pm

Vibrant floats, mariachi bands, flamenco dancers and families will line Commercial Avenue in South Chicago to celebrate Mexican Independence Day.

Chicagoland Toys For Tots Motorcycle Parade

December 2, 2018
Western Ave. from 87th Street to Addison
Start Time: 9:30am 

Chicagoland motorcyclists have joined forces with the United States Marines, to assist their Toys for Tots program. The toys are then given to hospitals, orphanages, schools, and even private homes, wherever the need is the greatest.
