Taste of Chicago > Food Vendor Information & Application
Created by restaurateur Arnie Morton in 1980 to highlight Chicago's restaurants in one location, the Taste of Chicago continues to showcase the diversity of the city's exciting dining scene. In recent years, the event has added Pop-up Participants and Food Trucks and incorporated more cultural elements. The event now features a full schedule of cooking demonstrations, specialty food experiences, local and nationally renowned musical acts, family activities, art installations, dancing and more!
With over a million visitors attending the five day event, Taste of Chicago provides an unprecedented opportunity for participating food vendors to gain exposure for their business. Supported by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), vendors will benefit from pre-event marketing and extensive publicity and promotion opportunities that can have a positive effect on participants year-round.
