Fleet Operations

The bureau procures all vehicles and rental equipment necessary for City operations; repairs and maintains vehicles and equipment, including the coordination of outside shop repairs; provides fuel distribution services for vehicles; offers emergency road service; manages cost recovery for vehicles damaged in an accident; and disposes of equipment at the end of its useful life.  The bureau provides oversight for the City’s vehicle sharing programs and green fleet efforts.  The bureau also provides equipment maintenance and fueling services to other local units of government.
