Debt Relief

Mayor Lightfoot and City Clerk Valencia have teamed up on a set of reforms to create a more equitable Chicago. In October, residents will be able to purchase a City Sticker with no late fees or back charges followed by a City Sticker Ticket Debt forgiveness program in November. Read on to learn more about how to take advantage of this program.

Step 1

Purchase a City Sticker.

Starting Tuesday, October 1, 2019 through Thursday, October 31, 2019, residents can purchase their City Sticker during City Sticker Amnesty Month with NO back charges or late fees.

Residents can take advantage of these reforms in person at one of three City Clerk office locations, one of the four Department of Finance locations, one of our many Mobile City Halls or online at ChiCityClerk.com.

Apply for City Sticker Tickets Debt Relief

Beginning Friday, November 15, 2019 through Sunday, December 15, 2019 residents can apply for the opportunity to have at least three city sticker tickets forgiven.
