Stamps are going paperless - Effective March 25, 2023, stamps will no longer be available for purchase at O’Hare and Midway airports. Once the kiosks are removed, all tax stamps must be purchased and redeemed using the mobile application. Printed stamps that have not been redeemed will be converted to digital stamps.

A new App is on the way – We have listened to your feedback and are developing a new and improved app that includes a free payment option when users register their bank account as their payment method. While credit card charges incur additional processing fees, bank account charges will not.

If you are already using Chi MPEA Tax, no action is required at this time. If you do not have a mobile account, you can prepare now by doing the following:

• Download the free Chi MPEA Tax application from the App Store onto an IOS or Android device.

• Scan your Driver’s License to register.

• Enter and store a valid payment method to purchase stamps.
