MOPD RFP Open for Personal Assistance Services

The City of Chicago Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) is seeking organizations to work with to hire and manage Personal Assistants as part of MOPD’s Personal Assistance program that helps people with disabilities live independently.   Our Request for Proposals (RFP) is now available for organizations is now open.

Personal Assistants provide up to six hours of help in the home, on the following tasks: food shopping, cooking, cleaning, dressing, budgeting, help with errands, and other needed tasks. Our program is a lifeline for people who may not qualify for other available services and need help. 

This is a great opportunity to work with MOPD in providing services by hiring and managing personal assistants! $100,000 is available through the end of 2022, with a one-year extension available.  Download the application online - MOPD RFP Personal Assistance Services.
