Chicago's transportation network includes 448 miles of on-street bikeways and off-street trails. Mileage for each type of bikeway is tracked in the table below, and locations can be viewed in the interactive map below.
This chart is updated quarterly as new segments are installed and upgraded. Reference the Types of Bikeways guide to learn more about the facility types.

Printed Chicago Bike Map
CDOT produces a FREE Chicago Bike Map every spring. In addition to bikeways, the map includes bike shop locations, CTA and Metra stops, and Divvy stations. You can view a PDF of the map below.

Hard copies of the Chicago Bike Map are available while supplies last at Aldermanic offices and at bike shops throughout the City. Ward offices, bike shops, libraries, community organizations, and businesses can request a bulk delivery of printed Chicago Bike Maps by filling out this form.
