Protect Chicago Music Series With the Chosen Few DJs

CDPH partnered with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) to host the second concert of the Protect Chicago Music Series for fully vaccinated Chicagoans, this one featuring the legendary Chosen Few DJs at Kennedy King College.

Hundreds of vaccinated Chicagoans attended the event on Saturday, August 28th to enjoy live music, food from local restaurants, and work from local artists who created original pieces promoting COVID-19 vaccination.

Protect Chicago Music Series events are exclusively for fully COVID-19 vaccinated Chicagoans. They include a variety of musical events taking place across Chicago as an incentive and benefit for Chicagoans who receive a COVID-19 vaccine to protect their families, communities, and themselves.

With the City of Chicago once again seeing a rise in COVID-19 cases, it is more important than ever to get vaccinated to protect yourself, your family, and your community. Vaccines have been essential in the fight against COVID-19 and its variants – and while the city is beginning to see more “breakthrough” cases because of the delta variant (vaccinated individuals contracting COVID-19), they are very rare, and vaccination helps protect individuals from serious illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19.
