About

DPD's region-based Planning Division develops and implements citywide and neighborhood land use plans, designs community engagement initiatives and collaborates across City departments on active development projects. It also supports the Zoning Bureau with design review of planned developments. Additionally, the Sustainability division oversees the Chicago Sustainable Development Policy, and plans for and acquires open space.
