Logos & Recognition
We ask that grant recipients acknowledge DCASE in online and print materials related to the funded project for the duration of the project (for Individual Artists Program and CityArts Program grants), or for the entirety of the grant period noted in the award letter accompanying your check (for CityArts grants).
Please find our DCASE logo and detailed recognition guidelines below. At a minimum, we ask that you include specific recognition language on all promotional materials and public notices. Note that the language varies for each type of grant. Please use the quotes provided below:
Chicago Presents
“This event is supported by a Chicago Presents grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.”
CityArts - General Operating Funding
“This project is partially supported by a CityArts grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.”
CityArts – Project Funding
“This project is partially supported by a CityArts Project grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.”
Individual Artists Program
“This project is partially supported by an Individual Artist Program grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, as well as a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency, a state agency through federal funds provided by the National Endowment for the Arts."
Neighborhood Access Program
“This project is partially supported by a Neighborhood Access Program grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.”
Together We Heal Creative Place grant
"This project is partially supported by a Together We Heal Creative Place grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and the Mayor’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice.”
All marketing and press materials referencing the project, program or event that DCASE grants funds are supporting should credit DCASE and must be reviewed by DCASE prior to release to third parties. Please route all materials to DCASE at dcase@cityofchicago.org at least 48 hours prior to release to the third party.
