Roseland Michigan Avenue RFQ

In December 2022, the City issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the potential redevelopment of sites along the Michigan Avenue priority corridor. Prior to issuing the RFQ, the City held a series of meetings with community stakeholders to gather input on the neighborhood's vision for the future of those sites. That input was incorporated into the RFQ and will be considered during the subsequent evaluation process.

Two development team finalists were subsequently selected for the site at 115th and Michigan Avenue on land adjacent to a planned CTA Red Line Station. The developer-designer teams each received a $25,000 stipend to develop proposals that align with previous community visioning sessions.

In March 2025, the City launched an online survey to gather public input on the two mixed-use development proposals under consideration for the site.

In June 2025, 1Fifteen at Michigan Station was selected as the winning respondent to the RFQ.
