Pullman Corridor Streetscape Improvements

Overview

CDOT streetscape improvement projects consist of infrastructure, pedestrian safety, and placemaking improvements with the goal of creating unified, safe, walkable, and attractive commercial destinations. Streetscape projects foster community and economic growth by prioritizing investments in pedestrian activity, multi-modal transportation, vibrant public spaces, and quality-of-life amenities for local residents.

The project improvements follow recommendations from CMAP's Pullman Transportation Plan as well as the National Parks Conservation Association’s Positioning Pullman Plan. Once complete, the project will help facilitate safe pedestrian crossings between the Pullman National Park and the adjacent historic Pullman neighborhood, as well as provide upgraded bicycle and pedestrian connections to the neighborhoods west of the National Park.
