Jose, husband to Lucia, father to Edith and Maribel and grandfather/great grandfather to 8, immigrated to Chicago 63 years ago. He was an incredibly hard working man from the get-go but always put his family first. His message to his eldest daughter was he would support her under any circumstances because he believed he should stand by her side no matter what.
