The City of Chicago will be holding the Chicago International Boat Show from August 21 to August 24, 2025. In light of the expected heavy density of water traffic during the show, in addition to other applicable restrictions provided in the Municipal Code of Chicago (“Code”), the no wake restriction established in Section 10-40-261(a)(3) of the Code shall apply from Thursday, August 21 at 8:00 a.m. to Monday, August 25 at 12:00 p.m. in the area bounded as follows: beginning at the north line of the Jardine Water Filtration Plant, then going east to the Chicago Harbor outer breakwater, then going south along the line of the Chicago Harbor outer breakwater to the south line of Navy Pier extended to the Chicago Harbor outer breakwater, then going west to the east line of Navy Pier, as illustrated on the following map. Violators shall be subject to a fine of up to $500.
