The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) today announced that the upper and lower levels of the Michigan Avenue Bridge over the Chicago River will be closed Thursday night, August 11, from 11:00pm until 5:00am Friday morning, August 12, for maintenance work. 

Motorists traveling northbound on upper Michigan Ave. should turn west on Wacker, north on Dearborn, east on Ohio and then back to Michigan Ave. Southbound drivers should turn west on Ontario, south on Clark, east on Wacker and then back to Michigan Avenue. 

Motorists traveling northbound on lower Michigan Avenue should use Wacker, Columbus, and then Ontario back to Michigan Ave.  Southbound travelers should use Illinois, Columbus, Wacker and then back to Michigan.
