CDOT: Delays Expected During Evening Rush Today on Southbound North Lake Shore Drive

The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced that due to a piece of broken equipment, two lanes of southbound North Lake Shore Drive are currently out of service just south of North Avenue, at approximately 1400 N. Lake Shore Drive, and delays are expected during today’s PM rush.

Personnel are working to remove a broken crane that is blocking the two left lanes of southbound Lake Shore Drive as quickly as possible. The crane was being used to perform maintenance work on Lake Shore Drive.
