West Woodlawn TIF

Designation: 2010    Expiration: 2034

Primarily serving the Woodlawn community, the West Woodlawn TIF was designated to encourage affordable and market rate residential investment, as well as commercial investment, within an 64-block area of Chicago's South Side. Resources made available by the TIF also target public infrastructure improvements, transit upgrades, infill projects, and new job-training and day care opportunities for area residents.
