Each year, the Jumping Jack delights children across Chicago. This inflatable playground, provided by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, is available for free, all summer long.

• The Jumping Jack is limited to Residential Block Parties within the city limits of Chicago
• Saturday and Sundays only, limited availability, volume of request typically highest on Saturdays – consider a Sunday
• Applications are available on a first-come-first-served basis
• The Jumping Jack Program runs from Monday, May 26 through Sunday, September 2, 2018

Some general rules to keep in mind include:

1.  Applications for the 2018 program will be accepted beginning at 9am on Monday, March 26, 2018.

2.  Inflatables will only be provided to residential block parties within the city limits of Chicago. Events on private property, in parks, in forest preserves, private parties, birthday parties and festivals are not eligible to apply.
