Listen to a sample of the fantastic live jazz music happening across the city throughout the year. With support from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the Chicago Jazz Festival Neighborhood Concerts are hosted by the city's dynamic music organizations and venues. All events offer free admission.

A celebration Louis Armstrong's 100th Year stay in Chicago, a stay that Mr. Armstrong said launched his international career. The SSJC will present an intergenerational band, featuring young and elder trumpet players performing selections from Mr. Armstrong's songbook backed by a rhythm section comprised of Chicago Jazz musicians
