“Last week, our country witnessed a terrible tragedy and the thoughts and prayers of all Chicagoans are with the Sikh community and all the people of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. As we honor those who were lost, we remain firm in our conviction that everyone has a right to be safe and live freely in their homes, on their front lawns, in their places of worship and in their communities.”
