CHICAGO - Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced today that Huron Consulting Group has committed to adding 400 to 600 jobs to its Chicago headquarters office over the next three years, expanding the total number of jobs the Mayor has announced during his Administration to more than 15,000.

We have extremely talented people within the Company, and their dedication to client service and to the communities in which we live makes Huron – and Chicago – a great place to work.”

In the Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs that was released earlier this year, attraction and expansion of corporate headquarters was a key goal, as was extending the City’s leadership in the professional services space. This announcement is relevant to both of those goals.
Today is the 25th jobs-expansion announcement Mayor Emanuel has made since taking office, totaling more than 15,000 positions.
