Mayor Brandon Johnson and Chicago Office of Budget and Management to Hold Series of Budget Roundtables
CHICAGO—The Office of Mayor Brandon Johnson and Chicago's Office of Budget and Management invite you to help shape Chicago's 2024 Budget through a series of small group roundtables scheduled during July. The roundtables will include representatives from the City's departments and sister agencies to answer questions and receive feedback on how to build a Better, Stronger, Safer Chicago. Please sign up to join the conversation most convenient for you. Roundtables will be held at Kennedy-King College, Truman College and Malcolm X College.

Doors open an hour before the events for a City Resource Fair where representatives from the City’s departments and sister agencies will be available to answer questions and provide information on City services and programs. Mayor Johnson will provide opening remarks before the roundtables are broken into issue areas in small group roundtable discussions with leadership and subject matter experts from City departments. Residents will have the opportunity to elevate their top equity concerns to support City staff in prioritizing their budget requests.

- Affordable Housing/Homelessness
- Public Health/Mental Health
- Community Safety
- Neighborhood/Community Development and Arts/Culture
- Environmental Justice/Infrastructure
- Immigration
