Description of Work: Communication Equipment

Requirements

Making sure that your description of work includes key information, is accurate, and is concise is very important to ensuring the plan examination and inspection process will run smoothly.

 For communication equipment the description must:

  • Describe scope of work, for example: “NEW,” “REPLACEMENT,” or “DECOMMISSION”
  • Describe the type and quantity of equipment, for example: “6 ANTENNAS,” “2 CABINETS,” “ASSOCIATED WIRING,” or “MONOPOLE TOWER”
  • Describe the location of equipment, for example: “ON FREESTANDING POLE,” or “ATTACHED TO PENTHOUSE OF 6-STORY BUILDING”
  • Identify the make and model of the equipment
  • It is helpful if you include the operator’s site identifier
