The Applicant requests a rezoning of the subject property from the Waterway Residential-Business Planned Development 1434 to Waterway Residential-Business Entertainment and Spectator Sports Planned Development 1434, as amended to a multi-phased, mixed-use development that will include residential, retail, institutional, office and a new 22,000 seat stadium. A proposed Lake Michigan and Chicago Lakefront Protection Ordinance application submitted by the applicant, Minhaz Lakhani, for the property generally located at 7138 N. Sheridan Road. The applicant proposes to demolish the existing gas station and construct a new gas station with six service pumps and a 3,476 square foot convenience store. The site was previous heard and approved at the Zoning Board of appeals and appears in front of the plan commission due to the location being within the Private Use Zone of the Lakefront Protection District. |

A proposed Residential Business Planned Development submitted by PO 55 LLC, for the property generally located at 55 East Washington Street. The Applicant requests a rezoning of the subject property from DR-10 Downtown Residential District to, first, those of a DX-16 Downtown Mixed-Use District and then to those of a Residential Business Planned Development to convert the existing, vacant office space into an additional 214 residential dwelling units. The overall FAR will be 23.24. |
