ProjectDox Upgrade and System Downtime Scheduled June 18-23, 2025
The City of Chicago’s ProjectDox system for building permits will be upgraded from June 18-23, 2025.
The current ProjectDox site will go offline at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 18, 2025. The online customer portal for plan-based permits, sign permits, and trade license renewals will also be offline during the upgrade. The upgraded systems will be available by 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025.
Please note that City of Chicago offices will be closed on June 19, 2025, in observance of Juneteenth.
