The Building Commissioner proposes to adopt the following rules, effective February 1, 2024:

Rules for the Self-Certified Permit Application Program (proposed)

Rules for the Structural Peer Review Program (proposed)

If adopted, these rules would replace the existing rules on these topics.

Written comments on the proposed rules may be submitted to DOB_Rules@cityofchicago.org by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024.
