The Building Commissioner proposes to adopt the following rules, effective February 5, 2024:

Rules for the Self-Certified Permit Application Program (revised proposal)

The revised proposed rules reflect changes to Rule F and Table C-1 made in response to commments received in response to the proposed rules posted on January 5, 2024.

If adopted, these rules would replace the existing rules on this topic.

Written comments on the proposed rules may be submitted to DOB_Rules@cityofchicago.org by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024.
