The Department of Planning and Development offers multiple grant opportunities throughout the year to small businesses, developers and non-profit organizations. See below for a list of grant programs currently available.

Community Development Grants help pay for new construction or building renovation projects throughout the city at three funding levels, depending on project scope.

The Neighborhood Opportunity Fund provides grants up to $250,000 fo the construction or rehabilitation of properties that support new or expanding businesses or cultural assets.

Adopt-A-Landmark grants support the restoration of designated landmark buildings and structures throughout Chicago.

The Small Business Improvement Fund supports permanent building improvements and repairs for properties in Tax Increment Financing districts.

Workforce Solutions offers grants up to $250,000 for the training of incumbent workers and new hires.
