Mayor Emanuel introduced an amendment to Section 2-92-335 of the Municipal Code to expand the definition of apprentice in the Department of Procurement Services' (DPS) apprentice utilization bid incentive to include apprentices who are graduates of high schools operated by Chicago Public Schools (CPS).  This change would reward firms for providing opportunities to local high school graduates.
