CHICAGO – The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge annual race will take place Thursday, May 18 evening in Chicago. With 15,000 expected participants, the Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications is reminding motorists to expect street closures and increased activity in the area of Grant Park.  For more information, visit https://www.jpmorganchasecc.com/en/home 

Expect increased activity for the pre-race events beginning at 2 p.m., when event site opens. The race begins at 6:50 p.m. with conclusion expected by 9:30 p.m.  OEMC will monitor this event in the city’s Operations Center.  Traffic Control Aides (TCA’s) will be present to facilitate traffic.

  Report Suspicious Activity:  If You See Something Say Something. OEMC reminds the public to be aware of their surroundings and to report suspicious activity. If you notice something suspicious, notify onsite security or call 9-1-1. If You See Something, Say Something™ is a national anti-terrorism public awareness campaign that emphasizes the importance of reporting suspicious activity to law enforcement authorities.
