In response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Chicago has joined the State of Illinois in issuing a Stay at Home order effective Saturday, March 21st at 5pm CT. In addition, City of Chicago facilities are closed to the public. Staff are prioritizing essential services to protect the health and safety of our residents and employees. As such, we may be delayed in responding to non-essential inquiries and service requests. Made in Chicago promotes and supports the manufacturing sector and individual manufacturers throughout the City of Chicago,one of the world’s premier manufacturing centers. The program objective is to showcase and promote Chicago manufacturers and their products. The program is open to all companies that manufacture products in the City of Chicago.

networks, a skilled workforce, and a wide variety of public and private support, the manufacturing sector is thriving in Chicago. The sector is a central part of the City’s economy, supplying 80,000 jobs at 2,600 firms.
By including the City’s entire industrial sector, which includes manufacturing, as well as wholesale trade, transportation, and logistics and warehousing, the sector supplies 2 00,000 jobs in 6,800 companies.
