DFSS seeks proposals from qualified in-home care agencies who have experience providing assistance with activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, grooming, dressing) or instrumental activities of daily living (i.e., shopping for groceries, housekeeping, taking medication) for older adults 60 years of age or older in the city of Chicago.

The Chore Services program provides temporary in-home assistance to older adults 60 years of age or older who have difficulty with one or more activities of daily living (ADLs) (i.e., personal care) or instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) (i.e., household tasks).
