The Grandparents or Older Relatives Raising Children Services RFP seeks proposals from qualified social service agencies who have experience providing counseling, support groups, and gap-filling services for grandparents or older relatives 55 years of age or over who have the primary responsibility for raising children (nieces, nephews, siblings, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren) under 18 years of age or individuals with severe disabilities age 19-59 in the city of Chicago.
The Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) seeks proposals from qualified social service agencies who have experience working with grandparents and older relatives who are raising children by offering counseling, support groups, and gap-filling resources. We anticipate awarding one contract for this work.
