February 2022 Plan Commission Hearing
Due to the ongoing public health crisis, this meeting will be held virtually starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 17.
Rules for virtual meetings are available now for review. A summary of the public comment portion is available below:
- Written statements are the preferred method of public comment and will be accepted up to 24 hours in advance of the meeting at CPC@cityofchicago.org. Statements will be posted online for public review prior to the start of each meeting.
- Members of the public wishing to speak must submit a speaking request form. Forms must be submitted by 10 a.m. the Tuesday preceding the meeting to CPC@cityofchicago.org.
- Verbal statements for all agenda items will take place at the beginning of each meeting, versus after each presentation.
- A maximum of 15 members of the public will be permitted to comment on each proposal due to technical limitations. Selected speakers for each item will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each will be given instructions on how to provide up to three minutes of testimony.

The property is zoned DX-7 and is within the Private-Use Zone of the Lake Michigan and Chicago Lakefront Protection District. The applicant is proposing to demolish an existing three-story commercial building and construct a new two-story commercial building. |

A proposed amendment to Commercial Residential Waterway Planned Development #796, submitted by TCB-Lincoln Village, LLC and TCB-LV GL, LLC, for the property generally located at 6111-6199 North Lincoln Avenue and 6231-6257 North McCormick. The property is currently zoned as Commercial Residential Waterway Planned Development # 796 and is currently improved with a commercial shopping center and 109 units of Elderly Housing. The proposed amendment is intended to allow for additional permitted uses consistent with those allowed in the underlying B3-2 zoning designation, no other changes are contemplated as a result of this application. |

Lightfoot that will encourage neighborhood growth and vibrancy while addressing social and economic inequities that impair Chicago’s legacy as a global city. The Department of Planning and Development will provide an update on the We Will Chicago planning process, which will include an overview of work completed in 2021 and the upcoming workplan for 2022. |
