YOUTH SERVICES: MY CHI. MY FUTURE. MICRO-GRANTS PROGRAM

The Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) seeks to fund an agency with experience in distributing and managing grants to help achieve the mission and vision of My CHI. My Future. (MCMF) across the city. This program has been developed to address the COVID-19 pandemic-related effects on young people and communities. The My CHI. My Future. Micro-Grant Program Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to provide funding for one delegate with experience in grants management to distribute micro-grants to community-based organizations in 15 regions encompassing 19 Community Areas across the city that were identified because they ranked high on the Chicago Community Vulnerability Index (CCVI) and/or the UIC Chicago Community Area Economic Hardship Index. This effort will result in mobilizing and connecting young people of all ages to engaging and meaningful out-of-school time programming in their community.
DFSS anticipates awarding funding to one delegate agency for a total of $944,295 over a two-year period representing 100% of total project funding.
