Services
Breast Examination and Mammogram
A clinical breast examination is provided to clients prior to the mammogram, should be done annually.
Free Condoms
The STI Specialty Clinics & HIV Early Intervention Services are drop-in specialty clinics that diagnose and treat sexually transmitted infections (STI) and provide information about condom use and other STI prevention methods.
HIV/AIDS Primary Care Clinics
Chicagoans' health needs are diverse, just like our communities. CDPH is dedicated to working continuously in partnership with community members to promote the best public health practices for the prevention, treatment, care, and to promote the highest quality services for the health and well being of individuals living in the City of Chicago.
HIV/STI Partner Services
Notifying your sex and/or needle-sharing partners is one of the many FREE services offered by the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH).
HIV/STI Prevention
HIV/STI Prevention Program works with Chicago’s community planning group, CAHISC, to assess needs and identify priorities in order to best address the epidemic and prevent HIV disease in the city of Chicago.
Healthcare Access Programs
Healthcare Access is a component of the CDPH HIV/STI Bureau’s Community Health Services Division, a collection of services that work together to reduce HIV infections and increase quality of life for those living with and vulnerable to HIV in the Chicago Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA).
Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
The HOPWA program was established by HUD in 1992 to address the specific housing needs of People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). Under the HOPWA program, housing services needed by PLWHA are supported through the provision of funds to agencies that provide effective strategies to prevent homelessness and facilitate access to a range of needed treatment and supportive services.
