Self-Certification Training Program - 2019

Full 3 Day Program

1 Day Update on 2019 Chicago Construction Codes

 

The 3-day training program for new and renewing self-certification professionals (architects or structural engineers) will take place December 2-4, 2019 at the Malcolm X College Conference Center, 1900 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago. Registration for this program is now closed.

Attendees will be provided with a hard copy 3-volume set of the Chicago Plan Review Manual. Copies of presentations will be available for download from this website. Paper copies of presentations will not be provided.

Attendees are encouraged to have access to a print or electronic copy of the Chicago Construction Codes during the training program.

Attendees may wish to review 2019 Draft Changes to the Self-Certification Permit Program Rules.

The 1-day update on the 2019 Chicago Construction Codes for current self-certification professionals in good standing will take place December 10, 2019 at the Malcolm X College Conference Center, 1900 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago. Registration for this program is now closed. This program must be completed before a self-certification professional who did not complete the 2019 3-day program may self-certify projects under the new codes. This program will be offered again in March or April 2020.

Attendees will be provided with a hard copy 3-volume set of the Chicago Plan Review Manual. Copies of presentations will be available for download from this website. Paper copies of presentations will not be provided.

Attendees are encouraged to have access to a print or electronic copy of the Chicago Construction Codes during the training program.
