The Chicago Department of Public Health is committed to ensuring all residents, including partner organizations and providers, have access to information and data sets regarding our work, programs, and the health status of our residents and their communities. We also share information about our regulatory compliance efforts, grants and Board of Health meetings.

  • Epidemiology / Reports: We are committed to ensuring all residents have access to reports, statistics and data sets that are used to inform CDPH programs about the health status of Chicagoans and their communities.
  • Health Atlas: A website developed by the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Smart Chicago Collaborative to allow Chicago residents and public health stakeholders to easily search, analyze and download health data for the city of Chicago.
  • HIV/STI Surveillance: We are responsible for monitoring incidences of HIV/AIDS and STI infection in Chicago and analyzing data that is collected in order to identify trends in reporting and infection and inform public health programming.
  • Institutional Review Board: We, through the Institutional Review Board (IRB), monitors research involving the Chicago Department of Public Health patients/clients and staff. Special attention is given to the protection of patients/clients rights, safety and privacy.
